Eliot Spitzer Goes Down!
And hard. It's hard to feel sympathy for someone so relentlessly self-righteous. But I wonder if it's possible he could have been a victim of Bush's warrantless wiretapping?

I couldn't be happier and I could care less how he got nailed. He is an arrogant asshole who thought he was smarter than everyone. He went to Harvard, remember? (And I bet the guys that found him out were some idiots who went to a state school and were stupid cops, at least in his eyes.) Well fuck him, twice. He went after people close to me who didn't do a damn thing and they weren't the only ones either. I hope his life is destroyed by this and he ends up cutting his wrists the the bathtub of some shit motel

A link on Drudge indicates that Spitzer had seen one "Krissy" seven times, and has been seeing call girls for six years.
Obviously he enjoys sex with pretty women, but was married and didn't want to risk affairs, so he had a little "hobby" of sex with high-end call girls.
I tell you guys what..........his wife might be standing by him during these press confrences and all, but if its validated that he has had this little "hobby" for the past six years (Drudge is only fairly reliable), she will almost certainly leave him and get a large settlement. He put her health at risk, as STD's these days are more and more drug resistant. There is a new strain of staph burgeoning in the gay community that leaves open, oozing sores on carriers. We had a guy at work with this and it was disgusting to look at. He'd roll his sleeves up and itch them when he though no one was looking. He is gay. He was missing quite a bit of time and the company made him take an early retirement. That stuff was tough to look at and you didn't want to go anywhere near him. Ick.
Can you --Imagine-- the Tom Wolfian embarrasment Spitzer, park avenue apartment, famous face, must feel now. A bald whore-monger who used to scold Wall Street? Really.............it will be hard for him to get a good job. He cant be a DA anywhere now, I suppose he could practice corporate law BEHIND THE SCENES. In front of a jury? Forget it, the jurors would be openly sneering at him during opening statements. As his predicament settles in.............................he is going to be very depressed.
I dont know much about Spitzer, but I do know that several publications felt he was overstepping his bounds bringing so many companies to court that done business in New York over really extraneous charges, establishing legal sovereignty over them and bullying them into doing things the way he wanted them done in their operations. He really did seem a little tyrannical. National Review has had articles griping about him over the past couple of years.
I too, wonder if the Bush Admin had anything to do with this behind closed doors. They have investigated Democrats with gusto.
One more "rumor"..........The DC madam thing has a BIG name. I dont know if its going to "come out" but a reliable guy, Phil Valentine, has heard through the grapevine that someone "way high up" was involved with that. Im thinking some senator in all probabiltiy.
