Viva la France
The French have rejected the new EU Constitution resoundingly. Good for them. The rejection came from the "extremes", though my guess is that, as here, the so called extremes are really the mainstream (see my post The Deluded Moderate). And so, the large numbers of French patriots combined with the large number of French socialists to defeat the referendum.

The French vote was influened by none other than the American hating
Chirac. I can't wait until his term in office is up so the FRench goverment can bring him to trial for corruption with the rest of his croanies. Viva La France!

Having lived in France 8 years, I have seen that the French public will vote one way on an issue one day, and another on another day. I wouldn´t read too much into it. Still, at least they vote.
