Why Not Just Let Them All Come In?

This astounding statement is from the Chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee: ""I think we need to find a way to make legal immigration and legal entry into the country easier." Sure, why should people from another land, who don't speak english, haven't a high school degree or knowledge of our laws, have to jump through hoops just to work here, live here, use our emergency rooms and schools for free - doesn't seem fair. I mean, who do we think we are - we're only the United States of America - who are we to insist on strict immigration - it's not like we're some big important country like South Africa.
Senator Cornyn is a Republican - the willingness to to turn the United States into a third world nation just to benefit businesses looking for cheap labor is not restricted to any one party - both parties are into the treason thing. Here's a handy site that shows how each member of congress votes on immigration.

Let the illegals use our ER's, suck up all of the social resorces meant for the deserving and non-deserving indigent US citizens. We need to let them drive on our roads too. That should be intersting: no understanding of the language so some bleeding heart liberal would suggest we lower the bar which would allow for easier passage of the driving test. (The ACLU's next project)

We elected a President who has no spine and caters to the likes of a Pres. Fox who cares as much about the US as Fidel.

And speaking of Fidel, he was speaking out about how the US will not turn over the Cuban criminal caught in Miami last week. Let's make a deal: the Cuban plane bomber for Joann Chesimard(SP?)

Treason? They still hang traitors, donĀ“t they?

If the US is to become a 3rd World country, it is more likely to happen as a result of waging wars while cutting taxes and going into record setting debt to do so.

That's a good point - the protracted war against the insurgencies in Iraq and Afghanistan are not good for our long-term health.

Very interesting and encouraging to see Ziel agreeing that the current military actions don't bode well for our economy. As you know, I've been against it from inception. If our goal was to remove the Taliban (admirable)and in Iraq, Sadamm (questionable goal but that's another issue), we've accomplished that. All that remains is our kids getting killed and Bush's buddies making tons of money (ours) with infrastructure contracts. We can't force democracy. Let them work it out among themselves. Time to go home and protect the homeland, from economic collapse, among other things.
