They of course discuss human evolution, the topic of Greg's book. It's a fun and interesting discussion, but the book is a lot better at making it all understandable.
Sweet merciful crap! Razib has got to be the nerdiest looking man on the planet. I always pictured him as an imposing, barrel-chested Bluto type based on his manly prose style.
You couldn't have a worse presentation than bloggingheads. There's no makeup, no one gets dressed up, and the webcams, which have wide-angle optics, really distort the face. I think they look fine - no worse than other bloggingheads, surely. They're just both really smart and for some reason people that smart just don't have angular features, deep-set eyes and imposing brows. Not to mention the thick glasses. Why smart people tend to have myopia is interesting. But note though that their faces are very symmetrical - a key sign of genetic fitness.
